Aiyaary is not a bad film. It is a deeply uneven one. It has a mature, relevant theme (institutional corruption and the conscience of a soldier) and features some of Manoj Bajpayee’s finest controlled work. The cinematography is crisp, and the military details feel authentic, a Pandey trademark. What you get instead is a straight path
