I dove back into after spotting the v1.2.2 update, and while it’s not a massive content drop, it’s a solid polish patch that smooths out the experience. Here’s a sample post looking into version 1
Alina of the Arena v1.2.2 is a refined, fair, tactical roguelike. If you liked Slay the Spire but wanted grid-based positioning, this hits. The patch won’t blow your mind, but it shows the devs are still sanding down rough edges.
Still no “endless mode” or daily challenge leaderboards, which would add legs. But for a $15–20 roguelike, the replayability from 6 difficulty tiers (Bloodlust+) is decent.
