When Squid Game took the world by storm, many wondered if Netflix could replicate that lightning-in-a-bottle success with another Korean thriller. Then, in early 2022, All of Us Are Dead dropped—and it didn’t just walk the walk. It sprinted, tripped, got back up, and bit the world on the neck.
But these are minor gripes in an otherwise relentless thrill ride. The finale doesn't wrap things up in a neat bow. After the bombing of Hyosan, our surviving core group—On-jo, Su-hyeok, Ha-ri, and the halfbie Nam-ra—part ways. The final shot of Nam-ra jumping off a building with other halfbies in the ruins of the city is chilling. It promises that Season 2 won't just be about survival anymore.
