But when an avatar opens its digital mouth and the ancient, monsoon-rich tones of Khmer emerge, something profound shifts. It is no longer just data transmission; it is an act of digital resurrection. The Architecture of the Tongue To understand why a Khmer-speaking avatar is remarkable, one must first appreciate the linguistic mountain it must climb.
