Let’s address the elephant—or rather, the bull—in the room. The film’s most infamous decision is its protagonist: The movie tries to hand-wave this by saying he’s a "male cow" (a bull), but he lacks the horns and bulk of a bull, retaining the classic black-and-white patched udder. Is Barnyard a good movie? Objectively, no. The plot is predictable, the animation is rough, and the biological confusion is legendary.

Absolutely, if you know what you’re getting into. It is the cinematic equivalent of a sugar rush: messy, loud, and a little headache-inducing, but weirdly fun. It doesn't deserve to be called a "masterpiece," but it also doesn't deserve to be completely forgotten.
