“We are addicted to optimizing for screens,” she says. “The No-Tech pack is for the farmer’s market, the beach, the book in the park. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the best thing to carry is nothing at all.” In a direct-to-consumer world obsessed with growth hacking, Alessandra Alcoser is slowing RofferPacks down. “Alessandra has this weird superpower,” says longtime RofferPacks user and architect Marcus Lin. “She makes you feel tough but tender. I wear my Roffer on job sites, and the site managers respect it because it looks rugged.
