Here is everything you need to know about the S7-200 Simulator v4.0. Developed by S7Tools (often credited to I. G. Ivannikov ), this third-party simulator allowed users to run Siemens STEP 7 Micro/WIN programs on a standard PC. Unlike the official Siemens PLCSIM (which did not support the S7-200 series), this tool filled a massive gap for engineers.
