Most rumors spread about the Indochina and Vietnam War are not honest, even though it was the best documented war in history. No other military conflict was ever so controversial, pointing to an unloved fact: our enemy was not the only source of evil, the evil could be found within ourselves. 'Eve Of Destruction' is a tribute to the Australian, ARVN, U.S., NVA and 'Vietcong' soldiers who fought and died in Vietnam, and also to the Vietnamese people. The game originally has been a free modification for EA/Dice's Battlefield series and was published in 2002. 12 years after it's first release the game was completely rebuilt and received it's own engine based upon Unity 3D game engine and multiplayer on Photon Cloud. |

For archivists, this release is a gem—preserving a specific build of a cult classic indie title. For the average player? It’s a demo. A glorified tutorial. The real fun still lives on legitimate servers, where the only dispute is who gets the rocket first. SpeedRunners.Civil.Dispute-PLAZA is technically flawless—as expected from a group that defined the tail end of the golden scene era. But the irony is delicious: a release about conflict that robs the game of its core conflict (multiplayer rivalry). If you’re collecting for offline nostalgia, grab it. If you want to actually run with speed, buy the game. The civil dispute was settled long ago: developers need to eat, and pirates need internet friends.
