They say Varonis does not appear on any map.
Some secrets keep a city alive.
When her father disappears into the catacombs, Elara discovers that the city’s famous “eternal lamps” are not fueled by gas or magic. They are fueled by a promise—a debt Varonis has been paying since before its first king drew breath.
The Secret of Varonis
Not because cartographers forgot it, but because the mountain city chooses who sees it. For three generations, the Kestrel family has guarded that secret—until Elara Kestrel stumbled into the wrong bell tower and heard the walls whisper.

Shotcut was originally conceived in November, 2004 by Charlie Yates, an MLT co-founder and the original lead developer (see the original website). The current version of Shotcut is a complete rewrite by Dan Dennedy, another MLT co-founder and its current lead. Dan wanted to create a new editor based on MLT and he chose to reuse the Shotcut name since he liked it so much. He wanted to make something to exercise the new cross-platform capabilities of MLT especially in conjunction with the WebVfx and Movit plugins.
