The experience itself isn’t the point as much as what it unlocked. It was part nerve, part thrill, and fully present. For three hours, I wasn’t Summer the overthinker or Summer the perfectionist. I was just a person, fully alive in a moment I couldn’t control.

There’s a certain magic in the date 02.04.2023. For most people, it was just another Saturday. For me, it became a bookmark in the story of my life—the day I said “yes” to a completely new experience.

So I did.

I’ve always been someone who likes a plan. Schedules, predictability, knowing what’s for dinner by Tuesday—that’s my comfort zone. But leading up to April 2nd, something felt different. An invitation came my way: try something I’d never done before, no safety net of expectation, just raw exploration.
