Juan's interest in fox hunting began when he was a teenager. He would often accompany his abuelo on nighttime excursions, learning the art of tracking and stalking from a seasoned expert. As he grew older, Juan became more serious about his hobby, spending hours researching and experimenting with different techniques.

Despite the skepticism of some villagers, who viewed fox hunting as a cruel or unnecessary pursuit, Juan saw it as a way to connect with his heritage and appreciate the natural world. He took great care to ensure that his hunts were humane and sustainable, always following local regulations and respecting the animals he pursued.
